Laxmi Vilas Palace, constructed in Indo-Saracenic Revival architecture, is known to be the largest private residence, four times the size of Buckingham Palace.
Ahmedabad: Sun Temple is a Hindu temple dedicated to the solar deity Surya located at Modhera village of Mehsana district, Gujarat, India. It was built around 1026-27 CE during the reign of Bhima-I of the Chalukyas dynasty. No worship is offered now and is a protected monument maintained by the Archaeological Survey of India. The temple complex has three components: Gudhamandapa, the shrine hall; Sabhamandapa, the assembly hall and Kunda, the reservoir. The halls have intricately carved exteriors and pillars. The reservoir has steps at the bottom and numerous shrines. Rani ki Vav is situated in the town of Patan in Gujarat state of India. It has been listed as one of the UNESCO World Heritage Sites since 2014. The finest and one of the largest examples of its kind and designed as an inverted temple highlighting the sanctity of water, the step well is divided into seven levels of stairs with sculptural panels; more than 500 principal sculptures and over a thousand minor ones combine religious, mythological and secular imagery. Mahatma Gandhi’s Sabarmati Ashram, one of his many residences, displays memorable and historic events of his life. Akshardham Temple is a Hindu house of worship, a dwelling place for God, and a spiritual and cultural campus dedicated to devotion, education and unification.
Pick up from Ahmedabad Railway Station, and then proceed for sightseeing of Laxmi Vilas Palace and Baroda Museum. Post lunch (On Own), visit to Statue of Unity. By Night reach Ahmedabad Hotel.
