Arrival in Srinagar and visit the houseboat. Srinagar – the lake city of Kashmir is located at an altitude of 1,730 meters above sea level and is the heart of the Kashmir Valley, famous for its lakes with shikaras and the Mughal gardens. Upon arrival, check-in at your hotel. Later, drive to the local sightseeing. Visit the Mughal gardens, which include Cheshm-E-Shahi, Shalimar Bagh and Nishat Bagh. Later in the evening, enjoy a shikara ride. Overnight stay at the hotel.
After breakfast, this morning, drive to Gulmarg, a flower meadow at an altitude of 2730 meters, known as a ski resort in winter, and check into the hotel there. Later this afternoon, enjoy a walk through the lush green flower meadows against the backdrop of snow-capped mountains and a ride on the gondola(cable car). Overnight stay at the hotel.
Today after an early breakfast transfer to Srinagar, upon arrival check-in at the hotel. This afternoon visits the world-famous Shankaracharya Temple, also known as Takht-e-Suleiman – 1100 feet high, with 243 steps (to climb). From here you can overlook the city of Srinagar, the Mughal gardens of Chesham-E-Shahi, Shalimar Bagh and Nishat Bagh. All these gardens are located on boulevard road in Srinagar. Start with Nishat Bagh and continue to Shalimar Bagh and then Chesham-e-Shahi. If you are here in April, you can visit the Indira Gandhi Memorial Tulip Garden, which is only open for a few days during this time, before going to Chesham-e-Shahi. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Today post breakfast, check out from the hotel and proceed to Srinagar airport for onward journey.
